I wanted a gold (or goldtoned) watch for daily wear. When I realized that this Fossil watch was a near carbon copy for the designer watch? I removed the designer one from my cart and purchased this one. What a great decision. It has a great design and it goes w/everything. I will have to get a couple of links removed (I have a small wrist), but I have to do that with every bracelet watch I own. This watch came at a great price point, and I don't feel like I slighted myself at all buy not getting the more expensive one. I've received lots of compliments in the short time I've had it. However, for functional purposes two things stand out that weren't so great. The 'champagne' color dial face, is too dark. Much more gold than champagne, making it blend too closely with the numbers and difficult to read. Secondly, in the watch manual, there are no directions for removing a link. The band runs large for a lady and I had extra expenses at a jeweler to get a good fit. Looks = A+ Function= B |
